Mystery hangout and its impact on student engagement.

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session is ideal for teachers who are new to using Google hangouts. It will be especially useful to those teachers who would like to open the doors of their classroom and try something new. Angela Etheredge and I will talk about our experience of running mystery hangouts in the classroom and we will demonstrate the impact it had on student engagement. During our session we will 'hangout' with Stony Evans, Library Media Specialist at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas in order to show how easy it is to connect with others across the world. He will talk about our collaboration through Google Hangout and the impact that it has had on his students.
